Episode 042 with Mack T and J Faul - The Last Saturday: Small Town Minds Evolving and An Attitude of Growth

This episode was recorded two days before the lockdown began. It's interesting to see the change in vibe - being recorded on our "last Saturday" before the quarantine - we dissect conversation, we catch up on our personal lives, share some laughs and stories, Jessica tells us about her new mobile bartending business (TheSipco on Instagram - check'em!) - and we compare and dissect our trails of life thus far. We ponder some questions around the feminine and masculine energy, and discuss the recognition of negative patterns. To help express her vulnerability, Mack tells us "that Kalama bridge story" - we talk about changing perceptions of our small town minds, we talk about dogs (cats too i guess), stumbling into unlikely conversations with strangers, we share some hardships of a mid 20's individual and some tips for better interactions with one another. We talk about understanding the characters in movies and connecting with the fantasy stories in books. We talk about some differences between younger generations and ourselves (as an also young generation) we discuss our draw towards the present moment and our use of social media and technology. W touch growing through trauma, mistakes, coping mechanisms, creating tools for your toolbelt of life and of course - navigating changes. We talk about creators, trusting the process and valuing the glass table talks, the parties together, growing together and rising together. We also touch on the reality of fading friendships and long-lasting friendships. Mackenzie and Jessica have worked various jobs, they have met and interacted with many different types of people, and I enjoy asking their views on the world.
