When we were kids his wit and skating style were carefree and full of charisma. He was making people laugh when I met him in the 8th grade. We've crossed paths and chit-chatted shortly at shows we both worked at over the last decade, but I've been eager to have a long-form chat with Joe. This conversation didn't disappoint.
