Episode #044, Astral Projection
from Hidden Worlds
Astral projection is the esoteric concept and spiritual practice of an intentional, out-of-body experience where a person's consciousness is believed to leave their physical body and travel as an "astral body" to different planes of existence. While not scientifically supported, practitioners describe feelings of separation, awareness of an "astral body," and the ability to travel in altered states of consciousness, which can be self-induced or spontaneous.
