Get a lot of wild animals, yetis and dragons. You guys excited? This is your first Joshua Fest. This is our first Yeshua.
Yes. Joshua Festa, the solo activator talking. And yes, it's our first one and we're excited to play amongst the people and the logs and the yetis and dragons. Yes.
Right on. Now, you guys have had a phenomenal year. You guys are just blown up this year. How's it feel?
It's definitely got to be a big change from 05 to 06 for you guys. Well, I mean, I'm not gonna lie. This is Solomon. I mean, solo activator.
And we're making tens. We're making tens and tens of dollars this year. And I can't. You know, we can't.
When we're making the George Washingtons by the tension. It. There's something about it. I mean, we're definitely able to afford some really, some nice meals at Taco Bell now.
They've got a Taco Bell in town here. Sometimes it means the difference between, like, Denny's and, like, Cracker Barrel, you know, the step up in 06 to cracker barrel. If we do really good, this is a little activator. Again, we do really good.
We go to Cracker Barrel and feast our hearts out. I mean, some people might want to go to nice restaurants, but Cracker Barrel, that is our nice restaurant. Family Force Five sports. Cracker Barrel.
Yeah, this is Nate. That we're from the south. And a good sirloin steak and some potatoes is a good meal. Yeah, no doubt, no doubt.
Now, first big album out there. Party in the. Party in the back. Party in the Back.
Yes. The classic mullet. What was the story behind putting the album together? Well, Family Force 5, we got together about three years ago and we've been playing some of the songs that you've heard off that album or you are going to hear.
And we just decided to put this band together and start playing out and putting on live shows that are really, really stinking crazy. And put all that stuff on a cd and we happen to do that and kids are connecting with it. And that's what's going on. Business up front.
Party in the back. Yep. I gotta say, you're talking about your live show. Everybody I've talked to has seen you guys live is like, oh, my gosh, you have got this band.
I just saw these guys this past weekend. They were amazing. What entails a Family Force 5 show? This is crouton we liken our show to five.
Add kids who have not taken their Ritalin and have raided the Red Bull truck. And we like to bounce off of things and bounce off each other and hit each other with guitars and guitars and, you know, sometimes we just get up all in the mix. And Xanadu, we got a hype man name Xanadu that dances across the stage. Very, very good Olivia Newton John movie.
Yep, there's roller skating in that now with all that energy going on. Any injuries? Any, Any major injuries? Report all every night.
There is definitely right now. I've got a big fat scab on my elbow. I've got a really nasty torn up knee right now. We just got back from the UK and I tried to do a James Brown split and it just didn't happen.
And so I messed up my knee there. Nate, out of here. He'll tell you. Yeah, I woke up yesterday with one of my ribs on my left side completely out of place.
And I have to say, every deep breath I take, every breath I take, my rib goes in and out about three times. So there's that. You know, I can't put my left elbow down on anything. Anytime I try to eat, I sit down and there's a huge bruise there.
So I'm like, man, I love eating some steak and potato. Ah. And that's. That's pretty much what happens.
Here's who don't tell you about his sprains and pains. Well, this is Croutonin. We have two other members that couldn't be with us right now. Jap sick.
He is a guitar player and he does some pretty crazy stuff. He takes some spills. And then my twin brother Fatty is a monster on stage. He is the yeti.
He's a juggernaut. He is the yeti. He's an injury causer. And I kind of like, you know, being a drummer in this part of our show because I sit behind like my drums are like a force field.
So it guards me from the whole band. But yep, not tonight. Crew challenge this sole goal activator. I'm coming after you this night.
No Yeti or Dragon can stop me at Joshua Fest. Have you guys thought about, you know, getting one of the, like, skate companies to like sponsor you and provide you with ads and stuff? Maybe some helmets. That is amazing.
If you can help us get that, plus some money, I think, I think we got a few skate companies out here. Maybe we can ask them for some sponsorship and money. Now I've got my official Joshua Fest guide here and Next to The Family Force 5, when it's describing the genre, I think they've got about eight different genres here. We've got alternative, we've got funk, we've got hip hop, and we've got metal.
So seems a little varied. They didn't put a electro in there or they didn't put a new wave in there. They also need to put a booty shaking up in there. There ain't no booby shaking on there.
We definitely need that. I don't think that's in the key. I have to say. All those can be grouped into one genre that we are.
That's us, and that's called crunk. Crunk. Yes, we are that. I don't see any cops.
You crunk Copless. Well, my cup is back at the merchandise table right now on display for kids to look at, in, marvel at and say, oh, I want to buy that. But I'm like, nope, the Kronk cup is not for sale because you have to get to a certain amount of cropness to reach that level of cuptum. Right on.
You know what I'm saying? I have no clue. Okay. All right, well, I want.

How was your performance? How you do? Oh, we did rock it. We rock it, man.
I mean, with the crowd that was there, you know, it's the first day, you know, we looked up to Joshua Fest and doing our thing, you know, they received us well up here, you know, so. Yeah. How many, how many years have you been to the Joshua Fest? This is our second year.
My second year. I'm glad he brought us back. You know, last year we came out with Bam. So it was like more Rockville last year.
This year with a straight hip hop. So we just want to get something different this year. Now you have a DJ in the back or just to the track? This year we just had a dj.
It was a laptop. Dj. Laptop. It's the wave of the future, man.
We're put us all out of business with the laptops. We got this going here. Now this is, this is a question I gotta ask. When's the next JC the Crew album come out?
Yeah, you mean JC the Boys. Tim give you the wrong info. He's saying JC Crew. Oh, Jason, JC and the boys.
That's what we deride from. I don't know if the Lord willing, If the Lord, you know, if those guys are willing to come back and do something together, you know, we'll do it. But so we have to be a group. Effortless.
A lot of people got together parts of the United States now. So I don't think the world's gonna want to hear JC what do you think? If it is, I'm losing an album, man. You guys are really spread out from that group.
You guys got a lot of different things. Peace586 goes in there. Who else? Where have you guys gone from there?
Oh, well, before we join Jason the boy we've always been group, you know, just that's kind of how we got our first recognition nationally Christian. But we, we went off and after that we were part of ssc and then we from there the SEC did their record. You know, we signed on and did our record and we just been doing our own thing since then, you know. So we've been going to places with guys and taking us man all over the world.
Yeah, I mean we go on tours and no and I. We just felt God, you know, leaning us to do, you know, record companies for other people. So we stop recording company. We have above the ground records and now we got Empire City Music.
So there's. Let's look up any album that says Empire City Music. Well, this looks like the dynamics only one out there right now. But yeah, we're about to shoot some videos.
You know, it's cool because I'll tell you on camera because you shoot how many videos you want. So that's what we're doing right now. So it doesn't count, right? No, I mean like probably about our life and stuff.
People don't know about our life. Yeah. You know the trouble that came along. Yeah.
Anyway, now you said you talking about videos now. You're shooting video pretty soon here, right? On Sunday, in two days from now. Well, I don't know when to type this podcast.
