Episode 054: Twin Scroll v. Single Scroll: The Final Battle

For episode #54 of the Flatirons Syndicate Motorsports Podcast, Jon, Ryan, and Scotty sit down with Keith from 969 Performance to talk about Twin-Scroll turbos. We have a new series on our Youtube channel where we answer a Question of the Week. A couple of weeks ago we answered a question about whether or not it was worth converting a WRX or an STI to a twin-scroll turbo. We have a lot of experience in this area because that is exactly what we did when we first built our Pikes Peak racecar, and we have tried a lot of different iterations of twin-scroll turbos on that car. After putting that video up, what we realized is that this topic was one that deserved a deeper discussion because there are a lot of things to consider when you are picking a turbo, much less considering changing the configuration of exhaust and turbo, etc. One person that we knew that has a lot of experience with twin-scroll turbos is Keith from 969 Performance.
