D.B. was working nights inside an old Victorian house in Alabama that, according to local history, had once been used as a hospital during the Civil War. Most nights, everyone else was gone before his show ended at midnight. The lights were off. The hallways were dark. And one night, something kept catching the corner of D.B.'s eye. Then he turned around and saw an elderly man standing inside a dark production studio—a tall, slender man with a gaunt appearance who looked like he could have stepped straight out of an old photograph from the 1800s. For about half a second, D.B. was convinced he'd just seen a ghost. Turns out his name was Frank.
