Episode 07 - The Mean Season

Peak-hotness Kurt Russell stars as Malcolm Anderson, a potential Pulitzer Prize-winning Miami reporter burnt out from the crime beat who only wants to move away to Colorado with his schoolteacher girlfriend. But fate—and a serial killer—intervenes. Jacob and Tara talk about this pulpy journalism thriller, Mariel Hemingway’s eyebrows, and why men in these movies are never happy to be a journalist. Box Office Bylines is heard every Tuesday on NowhereFM—pirate radio to ease the isolation. Listen live at nowherefm.net Got an idea for a journalism movie or TV show we should talk about?
