Episode 098 - 'Scream VI' Review

"Scream VI" premiered last week, and it was a massive success. It broke a franchise box office record for best opening weekend, with a stunning $44.5 million return, in addition to favorable reviews from critics. This week, Ryan reviews the sixth installment of "Scream." First, there is a brief recording from Thursday night, immediately after Ryan saw "Scream VI" which displays his instant reaction. Then, Joey Vallese joins Ryan to take a more objective approach to the successes and shortcomings of the new sequel. Rounding out the episode is a panel discussion with contributor Amar Karim, the iconic Cassi Graichen, Stab Investor Chris Beatie, and Wes Alexander from the Petty Pumpkins Youtube channel. They update their series rankings, as well as evaluate the core four (Sam, Tara, Chad, Mindy), compare Gale Weathers and Kirby Reed as legacy returning characters, and rank the big suspenseful set pieces featured in "Scream VI."
