All right, greetings, greetings. I'd like to welcome you all to the first episode of Truth to Power. I'm your host, Tyra Strouff-McNite. And today, I want to talk about honor amongst these.

I just have an honor amongst each other. Now, when I speak about honor, I'm not talking about in the now-on-sense, which means to have a high respect or esteem for someone or yourself. I'm speaking about it in a verb sense. Honor in a verb sense is defined as the ideal, the abides between the individual and the society as a quality or person.

Now, let me repeat that. It is defined as the ideal or a bond between the individual and the society as a quality or person. Now, having honor amongst these is defined as the concept that criminals do not compromise the activities of other criminals. Now, as black people, having honor among each other is very important.

Establishing a code that could bind inside all society can be a very powerful entity. There is absolutely nothing wrong with putting your race before any other races. Now, as black people, we must become comfortable with saying that we are black first. For example, black people are used to have a code of not finishing on each other.

What happened to that code? Now, everybody thinks it's OK to send each other. Black people are used to have a code of sticking together and defending each other. Somewhere along the lines, we've lost sight of those values in that honor.

Let me give you an example of other cultures. Asians put Asians first. They shop with Asians. They do business with other Asians, so that their money doesn't lead their community.

That team knows, put Latinos first. And we all know why it's for white first. The only race of people who are uncomfortable will acknowledge their race first are black people. Now, when I talk about putting your race first I'm talking about economically, socially, and politically.

For example, back in 2015, 2014, that was this New York police officer by the name of Peter Lee Aime. He failed his shot at a kind of girlie, a 28-year-old black male. The student wasn't justified. Justified.

And Peter Lee Aime wasn't indicted on manslaughter and filed with a criminal count. Now, the verdict of guilty of manslaughter was governed as most Asian community. They protested and they felt like Peter Lee Aime should not have to do any time although he was found guilty of murder. A murder.

Now, Kenneth Townsend, a black DA, recommended to the judge that he only gets house arrest. And that's how he served, guys. And we could even go to present times or current times. What just recently happened?

What just recently happened over the weekend? Now, for the president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, or Trump, whatever you prefer, who has been constant and consistent in support of Brett Kavanaugh, the newly sworn-in Supreme Court Justice, despite having sexual assaults and other rape allegations lobbied against him, he was able to secure the vote with the help of white women. Donald J.

Trump himself was voted into office by the majority of women, by majority of women, despite having been accused of sexual assault himself. Now, see, people of other races, they assist each other. Despite what legal allegations there are being accused of. I feel like we as black people need to adopt their same code.

We have to support each other socially, economically, and politically, despite of. And I'll even argue, in spite of. Because brother is the love or the right. They all meet up in the middle and practice white supremacy against us.

Remember, the truth is powerful. Because the truth is certain, all right? And every man must have a code. That'll be it for the day, guys.

I'll be on soon enough next week, get some things together. And I'm going to make it possible for you guys to call in and give you opinions on certain things. Thank you for listening.
