Episode 1: Avoidant Behaviour

from Hot Takes and High Vibrations Hosted by Hot Takes & High Vibtrations

Episode 1: Avoidant Behaviours Welcome to the very first episode of Hot Takes & High Vibrations with Daniel and Katiya. We’re kicking things off with a topic that has probably left most of us confused at some point: avoidant behaviour. Why do some people pull away when things start getting serious? Why can someone seem completely interested one minute and distant the next? And most importantly, how do you know when to give someone space and when it’s time to protect your own peace and walk away? In this episode, we get open and honest about our own experiences with avoidant behaviour, dating, mixed signals, communication and the emotional rollercoaster that can come with trying to understand someone who keeps you at arm’s length. Expect plenty of laughs, personal stories, different perspectives, uncomfortable truths and, of course, our signature hot takes. We’re not therapists and we’re definitely not pretending to have all the answers. This is two friends having the conversations we think more people need to have, mixing real-life experiences with humour, spirituality and a little bit of chaos along the way. If you’ve ever found yourself asking, “Do they actually like me, or am I losing my mind?” this episode might feel very familiar. Welcome to Hot Takes & High Vibrations. Nothing is off limits.
