Episode 1: How it began. Steve and Dave Sax share their story.

from SAX IN THE MORNING · host Steve Sax

I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast. For our very first episode I wanted to go back to how my career started.  So who better to talk about that than my older brother and former Los Angeles Dodgers teammate David Sax. David and I recount our childhood playing hours of two man baseball with one of us hitting and the other pitching with an old pump house shed as a backstop. That simple childhood game honed the hitting skills and perseverance that would carry us both to the big leagues. We talk about how our mom was responsible for both of us ending up on the Dodgers, the painful loss of our father and how David persevered through 13 years in the minor leagues, never giving up on his dream of being a full time Major League Baseball player.  And it all came to fruition.  You'll hear stories few have heard us talk about so I hope you'll enjoy this introduction to what we'll be doing going forward.  We followed our dreams and our hearts to success.  So can you!Remember, Sax in the Morning swag is now available on my Instagram site.
