October 2017 marked the 500th anniversary of the Reformation—500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. That was the event credited with beginning the Reformation of the Church—but many events followed—and 2026 marks the 500th anniversary of another one.
