The inaugural episode of The People of Penn State is here! In our very first episode, host Paul Clifford '20g is joined by Penn State alumnus and Paralympian Jake Schrom '11. Schrom graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in landscape contracting and now works professionally in landscape design and sales for his family’s company.  Jake is the President of the Penn State Mont Alto Alumni Society and an Alumni Council member. He is also a Paralympian, having competed for Team USA in Powerlifting at the Tokyo Games earlier this summer. He became an amputee in 2008, as a result of a work-related vehicle accident while he was a student at Penn State. In this episode,  Jake discusses how he became a Penn Stater, his path to getting involved with Ability Athletics, competing at Tokyo 2020, his experiences as an alumni volunteer leader, and much more.
