Episode 1: The Problem of Evil, pt. 1—Evil, the Spiritual Realm, and Love
from The Flowage · host TheFlowage
This first post is part one of a two-part series on deconstructing and starting the idea of God from scratch, and looking at how humans have responded to the PROBLEM OF EVIL—both in the absence of an idea of a spiritual realm or god, and then with. This takes me a little while to go through, but I eventually finish by introducing the concept of LOVE, and explain that if we are going to be guided and directed by the principals of love (which is what most of us try to do), then how can we reconcile that with the overwhelming problem of cosmic evil. The inherent evil in the universe seems to completely go against the notion that love is real, meaningful, and a worthwhile pursuit. I raise some fun philosophical arguments along the way and do so with excitement and passion. If you are seeking, or just want to check some of my thoughts, JOIN ME :)
