Episode 1 - The Purple Corkscrew Wine Store and Tasting Room

In this episode we speak with Steffini Bethea of The Purple Corkscrew Wine Store and Tasting Room, in Avondale Estates, just south of downtown Atlanta. In 2012, a different type of wine room was pioneered – one that you could feel comfortable in whether you were a wine novice or a seasoned connoisseur. That space was a cozy eclectic wine room that made you feel as if you were hanging out in your best friends den enjoying a glass of your favorite vino. In Late 2013, we incorporated a retail wine shop where we sold a hand-picked selection of  small vineyard, boutique wines. Today, we are enjoying the best of both ideas in one location. The Purple Corkscrew Wine Shop & Tasting Room was launched early this year and allows you the opportunity to Sip & Shop in one location. Steffini Bethea, the proprietor of the Purple Corkscrew has created a space that is like an extension of her own home. She and her team taste every wine that goes into the shop.
