This is the Understanding the Drivers of Infant Immunisation podcast mini-series. During 6 podcast episodes, we will share the main insights from nearly 3 years of research to understand the drivers and barriers to complete infant immunisation. Our research was focused on 3 sub-Saharan African countries (Nigeria, Guinea and Uganda) and, during this series, we highlight some key similarities, and differences, between the countries surveyed. Based on these insights, we also take a more holistic look at how to inform future interventions – and challenge some of the traditional approaches – when it comes to influencing health behaviours. Episode 1: “We got it wrong”  In this introduction to the podcast series, the hosts share what stood out to them from the research programme and the early learnings that changed the direction of the research but yielded more useful insights.
