Episode 1 | Vampires

from Strange Origins Hosted by Fascinating Productions

If you would like to skip where I talk about myself and get right into the lore of Vampires, go to 6:45. *Please note that I do explore light themes of sexuality and death throughout this episode which may not be suitable for children younger than 13. For my very first episode, I answer the question of why vampires are so sexualized. From the Romantics to Edward Cullen, to Vampiric Pumpkins, I delve into where the modern concept of Vampires came from, and how they have morphed into what they are now. Mikey Scars: No Excuses with RJ Roger Mikey Scars | RJ Roger Michael "Mikey Scars" DiLeonardo was a Captain in the Gambino Crime Family, serving under major American Mafia Boss, John Gotti Sr. and John Gotti Jr. His family traces back to the origins of the Sicilian Cosa Nostra. His grandfather migrated to the United States in 1895 when the American Mafia's roots first began with The Black Hand. DiLeonardo was a close associate of Sammy the Bull Gravano, assuming control of all of his rackets after he cooperated with the government in 1991. He became one of the most respected members over the Gambino Family, helping John Gotti Jr. to run the family for his imprisoned father. Today, Michael is a popular podcaster, telling his life story in an entertaining, fun, yet dramatic way, on YouTube and Patreon with host RJ Roger. Search "Mikey Scars" to find all content. It is interesting to note that Webb employed that format in other radio series, some pre-dating the film mentioned above. Dragnet was a long running radio and television police procedural drama, about the cases of a dedicated Los Angeles police detective, Sergeant Joe Friday, and his partners. The show takes its name from an actual police term, a dra
