Episode 1: Why We Started the Hey Haute Mama Podcast (And the Journal Entry That Gave Me Chills)
from Hey Haute Mama · host Jenn
Hey Haute Mama's! Recently my mom and I posted a video of us dancing together in New York City to Taylor Swift… and somehow it ended up getting over 60 million views. And the funny thing is, that moment pretty much sums up our relationship. We laugh a lot, we don’t take life too seriously, and we genuinely love having fun together. But there’s also a deeper reason this podcast means so much to me.My dad passed away last year, and not long ago I found one of his journals from 2004. In it he wrote one sentence that completely stopped me: “I want to tell Jenni about the future of her gifts and talents and how to be vulnerable like show host Johnny Carson: And I have no idea why he wrote that… but reading it gave me chills.Because here I am today starting a podcast that’s all about sharing stories, being vulnerable, and helping people find more joy in life. And if there’s one thing I truly believe, it’s that the amount of joy we experience often comes down to the perspective we choose to see.So if you’re looking for real conversations, a lot of laughs, and maybe a fresh perspective on motherhood and life… you’re in the right place.
