Episode 10 - Asbury Revival, God Lies To Get Ahab Killed 1 Kings 22

Ok, so the titles clickbait again. I know. I'm sorry, I can't  help myself anymore... If I had more room, I'd explain myself better. So It's not #God himself that lies to get #Ahab killed in 1 Kings 22. However, God is the one that approves and commands a #spirit from his #divinecounsel, as described in The #UnseenRealm,  to go and become a lying spirit in the mouth of King Ahab's 400 #prophets of #Baal. Sounds weird right? Well, it's in your #Bible, I'm not making it up. Go read Kings 22 for yourself.   We also briefly touch on the recent events surrounding the #Asbury #revival we've been hearing so much about. Unfortunately my mispronunciation of Asbury causes us to go off track and laugh our heads off for a little bit lol.   Over all it was a great chat. I know this one will ruffle some feathers because the topic of God's #sovereignty and man's #freewill has been a topic of debate for millennia. I'm not teaching anyone anything. I'm just reading a strange passage of #scripture and trying to make sense of it myself. All I can tell you is study the word of God for yourself and know why you believe what you believe. When strange passages like this one in 1 Kings 22 comes up which might cast some doubts on commonly held beliefs, don't ignore it. This passage in 1 Kings 22 is just as inspired as any passage you might use to defend man's freewill.
