Carl Edwards started the day at Bristol Motor Speedway on the pole and finished the day with his signature backflip and a trip to Victory Lane. In a race that did not lack drama or excitement, Edwards led a race-high 276 laps and all but guaranteed himself a ticket to the NASCAR Chase.
