We're cruising through this live music summer, shows may be back but we're glad to be back in the air conditioning this week for a private, low-key performance by the region's best local artists. This episode Motif's own Ben Shaw sits down with Becky Bass. Bass, originally from the US Virgin Islands, is a renowned vocalist, steel drummer and actor. She's performed at the National Gallery of Art's Jazz in the Concert series, Lincoln Center and RPM Voices of Rhode Island.

Big thanks to our sponsors for this episode: R1 Indoor Karting, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Dash Bicycle Shop, Bolt Coffee Company and Trinity Beer Garden.

We'd also like to thank Studio 121 for editing this episode and as always big thanks to the Parlour for hosting this recording.
