Derek is in his 35th season doing PA announcing for the UAB basketball team, has been calling the UAB football games since the club football days, and is the current announcer for the Birmingham Barons. Derek has been around the block in the Birmingham sports and media/broadcasting industry and has a lot of stories to share!
