Kate's Website@katelumpkinThe Broadway CollectiveNoMarkingNote: We recorded this episode at the beginning of May, before the nation wide awakening and conversation around police brutality and racism towards Black Lives. In this episode we address coming out of the pandemic with a more humane and inclusive industry in a broad sense, but we recognize that it’s jarring to hear us ignore the current conversation around black identity and lives. We understand that it is impossible to have a platform about creativity within the entertainment industry without highlighting the work of black artists. As we begin season 2, we are committed to prioritizing voices within the BIPOC community.  We stand with Black Lives Matter. We commit to amplifying black voices. We commit to deep listening and learning.
