In this last episode of the Comm4Cops, 10-part audio-curriculum to enhance police communication, you'll hear Ruben and Bob give a summation of what we've learned from some of the leading communication experts, bringing their perspectives from the different angles they've seen in their lives and careers. We learned a great deal about listening. We heard quite a bit about the soft skills and the need to have them greatly enhanced and elevated to match the hard skills training of policing. Recruiting police candidates from different pools was also mentioned - an interesting idea. What we heard most of all, though, was listening. Real, honest, in the moment listening.
