Episode 10: You Deserve a Nice Trainer

It all comes down to methods, personality, and certifications. You deserve a nice trainer, and I view a nice trainer as: Actively listening. This means asking questions and hearing you without jumping to respond. Acknowledging the good things you’ve done with your dog and the hard work that you’ve put in so far. Finding a method that works for you and your dog. Explaining what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and showing you how to do it. Exercising appropriate boundaries.
