The Revelation Revolution Dr. Dennis Woods This Podcast examines End Time Events and the Book of Revelation, from a non-Pre-trib point of view. The book of Revelation has a powerful message that has been widely ignored. Many Christians are taught that the Church will be raptured before most of the events in Revelation occur. However, Revelation has an important message for today's Christians and is vital for future Christians as well. Those who read Revelation without preconceived theological constructs will discover the riches and wisdom revealed in God’s plan for the ages. It’s time now for a Revelation Revolution! The Revelation of Jesus Christ Bob Corbin & Family Bible Church The book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is not only of great interest to many but, more importantly is pertinent to our lives today! The Word of God declares, 'Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.' Since the prophecy of this book must be in agreement with the rest of Scripture, we will also examine prophecy throughout the Bible. Join Bob Corbin on this expository trek through the book of Revelation. Written in Koine Greek, its title is derived from the first word of the text, apokalypsis, meaning "unveiling" or "revelation." The author of the work identifies himself in the text as "John" and says that he was on Patmos, an island in the Aegean, when he was instructed by a heavenly figure to write down the contents of a vision. This John is traditionally supposed to be John the Apostle, although some historical-critical scholarship reject this view. Recent scholarship has suggested other possibilities including a putative figure given the name John of Patmos. Most modern scholars believe it was written around AD 95, with some believing it dates from around AD 70.The book spans three literary genres: epistolary, apocalyptic, and prophetic. It begins with an epistolary address to the reader followed by an
