Jack is a former pick pocket now surgeon who is reacquainted with old partner in crime, Fagin, who is keen for Jack to resume old habits. The Artful Dodger takes pride in being one of the most historically accurate depictions of nineteenth century medicine and surgery. The hospital, surgical tools, and treatments are accurate portrayals of what we knew back then.
