Have you heard that well known cliche, "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven"? I have and I've even said it...quite often! There's even a bumper sticker for it. Until years ago as I heard that quote, I realized, there's great responsibility to our received forgiveness from GOD. Think of the woman at the feet of Jesus, she poured it all out. She abandoned her so-called "dignity", of what she had left and left it all on HIM because she received the forgiveness of her sin as that very gift that was placed on her destroyed every bit of shame. Yet even in that forgiveness, it didn't cause her to make excuses of her imperfections; instead it made her aware of the divine responsibility that JESUS pointed out that day to all those who witnessed her act of love for HIM. He spoke, as recorded in Luke 7:36-50, "She loves much because she was forgiven of much."
Today, I discuss this along with some other things that perhaps will cause you to see hurts and injuries that we have either experienced from others or that we have placed upon others. Holy Spirit was definitely speaking to me and I pray that you are encouraged as well.
