They originally invested passively into someone else's transaction, then they figured out pretty quickly that they wanted to lead an acquisition team and purchase a large apartment building. They had specific investment criteria that they needed to be met before they would move forward with a purchase. Over the next few years, the Ambrose's searched for the right property.
