Episode 101 - Let's Talk

from For The Record Podcast · host Jared Stossel

For our first post-100th episode, we take a bit of a change in direction. Jared sits down with longtime friend of the podcast (and occasional co-host) Andrew Tucker. This episode is a sit-down conversation focused around the stigma surrounding mental health, depression, anxiety, and trying to make sense of it all. This was a very open and honest conversation, talking about everything from the way that people in the public persona are viewed, to when the conversation about things like suicide and mental health should have begun in the first place.  Jared and Andrew have teamed up to create a shirt being sold through the TeePublic webstore, and all proceeds will be donated to a mental health awareness organization in the future, from here on out. To purchase one of the Let's Talk shirts, please visit www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/1762688-lets-talk?store_id=129394 If you at all find yourself struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, or any form of mental illness, know that you are not alone. There are many resources available, and one of the best places to start can be the Suicide Hotline: 1-800-273-TALK. Know that you matter. We promise. Thank you for listening.
