Episode 101. The Tragic Love Story of Diarmuid & Grainne and the Mysterious Death of Starlet Thelma Todd

In this week's episode Sandra talks about Ireland's well known tragic love story of Diarmuid and Grainne. The story goes that Grainne was set to marry Fionn McCool and instead ran off with a man by the name of Diarmuid. Fionn was not too pleased and set off after the young couple. After months of being on the run Diarmuid is attacked by a boar when Fionn runs into the couple and refuses his aid to help Diarmuid. However, due to the persistence of one of his sons Fionn decides to help but it is too late. The legend today has been compared to that of Sir Lancelot and Guineviere.  Then, Danielle discusses the mysterious death of rising Hollywood starlet, Thelma Todd. She appeared in over a hundred films and shorts. Known for her comedic prowess the "ice cream blonde" had a bright future ahead of her. When her body was found in her car in the garage of her casual love interest, Roland West, Hollywood was shocked. Thelma's death was initially declared a suicide, but a lot of red flags popped up when investigators started looking into her family, friends and business associates.
