I’ll read Psalm 106, and I’ll continue the Old Testament book of Second Chronicles with chapters 19 to 23.I’ve been asked if its appropriate to listen to Bible readings as a sleep aid. Is it disrespectful to God? There are many sleepy podcasts out there so its not as though we don’t have a choice. I believe that God doesn’t mind at all if we take comfort and rest from His word, rather than from hypnotic quasi-spiritual mindfulness techniques, perhaps of dubious origin. So I read you the scriptures to music in a sleepymanner, and hope that you find some rest here, and that God might use this time to bless you as only He is able.So, breathe slowly for a bit, and let your body release any tension left there from your busy day.
