Sometimes you get an opportunity that is too good to pass up - like when Will Hayward messages you at 4pm on a Friday with the idea to set up a Zoom call between Hong Kong, Colorado, Alberta, and Palmerston North to reunite the top four Big’s Backyard finishers before the Riverhead Backyard Relaps... One expletive laden outburst (Matt) and heaps of negotiation (Eugene and Will) later and we had the immense pleasure to sit with returning champions Maggie Guterl, Will Hayward, Dave Proctor, and Katie Wright for their first catch up since Big’s and a wonderful conversation about community, the future of the LPS format and how we can virtually connect the world.
