Episode 104 – Elan Mastai on The McKenzie Bros – The Great White North

His film What If?, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan opens in limited theatres today, and nationwide Friday, August 15.  Elan Mastai is Canadian, and isn’t afraid to change his accent to subvert the US and take it over.  Again, his film opens today. He also picked an awesome, self-referential, super-meta comedy album from 1981 – Bob and Doug McKenzie’s (aka Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas) “The Great White North.”  It’s a piece of punk comedy that, like all successful punk things, got super popular.  Unlike some punk, though, this still has legs.  Enjoy, and check out What If?   Host: Jason Klamm Producer: Mike Worden This Week’s Guest: Elan Mastai What If?
