Episode 104: It's 2020 and the Equal Rights Amendment Still Hasn't Passed

from Faith and Feminism · host Meghan Tschanz

In 1923, Alice Paul tried to pass a constitutional amendment that gave women equal rights, she called it the "Equal Rights Amendment". Almost a century later, it still hasn't passed. Allyson McKinney Timm founder of Justice Revival talks to us about the ERA, why it still hasn't passed, and what we can do to guarantee rights for women going forward. *note: Allyson's mic wasn't working at first, so we used her computer mic which picked up a slight humming from her AC unit. Persevere and listen anyway, I promise it is worth it.
