Episode 105: Cocktail featuring Bryan Quinby

Bryan Quinby, host of Guys: A Podcast About Guys, is in the studio and they’ve mixed up something very tasty with Cocktail (1988).  This Roger Donaldson directed film was a hit at the time and an early win for lead Tom Cruise, but critics were not fans.  It’s not hard to see both sides as it’s charismatic, energetic, sexy and having nothing but a good time while also being angry, doing too much, not explaining itself and occasionally getting pretty weird.  Still, Bryan Brown has charms aplenty and Elizabeth Shue is also there along with Gina Gershon.  Come for the drinks, stay for the stories and cheer every time Tom Cruise gets punched for good reason.  It’s just a good time and you can have one too, so tune in!
