Today we are going to be talking about...Boobs. Breasts, tits, hoohahs, boobies - whatever you want to call them, they are a noteworthy part of the human body, and hold particular anatomical and symbolic meaning. Different people will conjure up different associations and ideals when it comes to the topic of boobs. Today, we want to discuss it from the perspective of 3 cis-gendered Asian American women. We’re going to talk about our personal experiences: what our boobs mean to us, recalling our relationship with them through those awkward teenage years, reflecting on social perceptions (for example the idea that Asian women have particularly small boobs), bra and personality associations, and more.
