Episode 105: The Bard's Tale (With Music) Pt 2

from Goblin Lore Podcast · host Hobbes

Hello, Podwalkers, and welcome back to the Goblin Lore Podcast! Today we have part 2  on Music and Storytelling. Part one explored the role of the Bards in Magic and where we are potentially heading as we approach the DnD set. We were joined by friend of the cast Erik Linden who is a local Minneapolis Educator and Musician. While Part one highlighted the story of Yisan the Bard and his travels with Jalira and ending with a discussion of ballads/storytelling in songs Part 2 discusses story telling on Kaldheim (with an eye to Birgi) and then the role of Music in Storytelling. We end with learning about Erik's journey with music and some actionable advice for creators of all kind of art.   Again we would like to state that Black Lives Matter (with a link to where you can offer support both monetary and not).   We also are proud to have partnered with Grinding Coffee Co a black, LGBT+ affiliated and owned, coffee business that is aimed at providing coffee to gamers. You can read more about their mission here. You can use our partner code for discounted coffee! ____________________________________________ As promised, we plan to keep these Mental Health Links available moving forward too.
