The Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. 100 miles in a day. Where are my heart emojis? This is the super bowl of ultra running for many of us. To me, it is way bigger than the Boston Marathon. I know there are many Boston veterans that will debate that, but this is my opinion. I love the race, the venue, the people with all my heart. I cried many times just walking around and feeling the energy last year. Circumstances forced me to miss it this year, so here's my salute to the greatest weekend in Ultra Running.
