Episode 107 - "JLA: World Without Grown-Ups" Book Club

For this episode, Comic Talkers Mari and Brandon continue on with Shazam! Month as they take on their second book club of the month. This time, they discuss the story “JLA: World Without Grown-Ups.” Written by Todd Dezago with art by Mike Mckone and Humberto Ramos, this follows the Young Justice as they are faced with a challenge they have never had to face before, A WORLD WITHOUT GROWN-UPS. We follow Robin (Tim Drake), Superboy, and Impulse (Bart Allen) as they try to find out how to return things back to normal before it is too late. In order to do this though, they will need the help from someone who is not only a child, but has the ability of turning into a super-powered adult, that being Billy Batson. Will these young heroes come up victorious? And how will Billy realize that he plays a bigger part in this story than he realizes? Tune in to find out.
