Episode 107 - Red Sonja
from Swords and Satire
We are continuing our podcastiversary this week with our take on another movie in the Conan universe, Red Sonja, about a strong heroine who is tasked with saving the world from total destruction and gives zero fucks about what others think of her. It’s great! This is a dated film at this point, but we don’t shy away from the difficult questions, like “Is this movie feminist?” “Is it homophobic or supportive of queer relationships?” and “Do we really need romance in every film?” Listen in and join the conversation on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter @swordsandsatire!
