Episode 107: Understanding Endometriosis Because Period Pain is Not Normal
from Eating For You · host Sallyanne Pisk
It is my pleasure to welcome back Sharon Hoffman, The Women’s Health Dietitian, to discuss endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition where cells similar to those that line the uterus grow in other areas of your body, especially around your ovaries and uterus. This condition affects about one in six women of reproductive age and can be extremely painful at certain times during the menstrual cycle. Sharon explains the dietary management of endometriosis and treatments for this condition, as well as the lifestyle choices that can help to reduce the stress of living with endometriosis. Sharon has written an e-book, “All About Endometriosis,” and if you would love to get a copy, you may do so here: https://www.womenshealthdietitian.com.au/category/all-products For further information about Sharon and her services, visit her website: www.womenshealthdietitian.com.au If you are seeking assistance to maintain healthier eating, then you are most welcome to join our free Eating for You Community on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/EatingForYouCommunity
