from Oy with the Terror Podcast · host Oy with the Terror Podcast

In this episode Sandra talks about the Appalachian Trail. The Appalachian Trail is a hiking trail located on the East Coast that spans over fourteen states and is 2,200 miles. Today the trail is well known for being a famous hiking trail and it is estimated that over 3,000 people try to hike the trail every year. The Appalachian Trail was first proposed by Benton MacKaye in 1921 and then completed in 1937. Today, the trail also has paranormal entities including Big Foot and even the Mothman. Listen as Sandra gives a detailed history of the Appalachian Trail and shares two Reddit stories of creepy experiences that people have had. Then, Danielle covers Christine Paolilla and the Clear Lake Massacre. Christine who suffered from alopecia was used to getting bullied by her peers for most of her life. She wore wigs and had thick coke-style lens glasses. It wasn't until she was befriended by two popular girls that she finally felt accepted. They taught her about different kinds of makeup and stlying clothes. Her confidence grew and she was voted "Miss Irresistible" in high school. But, everything changed when after an argument turned violent Christine and her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Snider killed four people.
