Summary
2021 is here and The Horrorble People's Podcast is BACK from its December break! To kick off the new year, we're bringing you one of our BIGGEST episodes on possibly one of the scariest films of all time, with TWO great creatives behind it! That's right, we're diving deep into Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's THE SHINING from 1980. We take a look at the influence the Hotel Stanley had on the demon plagued author in the 70s, the rise of Stanley Kubrick through Hollywood, the BRUTAL behind the scenes stories of trying to even make this movie, and why it became so huge after initially being considered a disappointment. We also talk about Anthony's COVID recovery, Alix's cats make several appearances, and we mentioned Jon Voight twice for some reason. It gets a little funky! If you like what you hear, please consider giving us a 5 star rating - we don't want to have to use your Shining abilities to get it done, it's exhausting! Classic Horror 2 by Kevin MacLeod Licensed
