Are Canada's Northwest Territories a prime destination for the world's mineral explorers and developers? While the NWT may have gained a reputation a decade ago as having become too bureaucratic for miners, the territorial government has in recent years emerged with stronger regulatory powers taken on from the federal government and a new drive to make the jurisdiction attractive for mineral investment.
