No King, we can't let you march over us. You must not go out because if we are forced to flee, they won't care about us. Even if half of us die, they won't care. But you, you came, you were 10,000 of us.
It'll be better for you to give us a part from the city. I think that's the best thing we can ask you to do. We cannot allow you under any means to march over us. Okay.
Okay. That makes sense. Whatever seems best for you all, I will do. All right soldiers, I have one last word to say and I'm saying in the presence of everybody.
Joab, Abishai, and Idai, please be gently for my sake with the young man. Absolutely absolutely. I have a few questions for you. After everything Absolom has done, is he being unforgiveness?
Has he wronged David so much by his vile acts that he has lost his father's love? This week we are discussing Second Samuel chapter 18 and exploring the events of David's army versus Absolom's land. As always, people have to enjoy. All right.
Welcome back to another episode of Breath of Fresh Air podcast. I'm the Gatsky, I'm the Robert. See the thing with the Zon formad is they're gonna leave us here in the internationalics, which my name on this one is. You know, good things going on first, but hopefully everyone had a great week.
Yeah man, it was getting interesting, but hopefully everyone had a great week out there. I had some time to focus on God, definitely, you know, try to spend some time about every day. That brings me to like, eight point, it wasn't my thought. They have no kind of fits in like, like some people think like just, okay, give him back to God.
What is the one that is just when he's in my finances? But also it's like, God gives us the gift of life, gives us the gift of having more time on this earth. And so honestly, like you should be spending time with God every day too. I fall short in this area sometimes.
So not only then now, first I admit it, something I definitely could work on and should be working on. So I mean, like a certain point is, one of just like, maybe we'll deal with the ocean sometimes. Like, you know, first, first I'll be like, oh, try to reverse the day. Get the system back and actually like doing the ocean every day.
And there's like different levels and ways you can spend time with God. You know, like you read about some of these profits in the Bible and pictures of other times. They spend for God. I'm like, whoa, yeah.
Right. Definitely, yeah. But you know, definitely something we also be working on. It definitely does improve your day, your mood.
Just your all the life during those days, the work at times. So yeah, I definitely, definitely important. Yeah, I actually, man, I decided to hold deep meditation and prayer in one of those days. I was like, just ain't been there for like a few weeks.
I'm probably like, oh, three weeks. I just was wake up. I don't know. I just be so just, I'm going to be able to, I will say that when I go on top of that and more than I can talk with everything.
Just a knife, you know what I'm saying? I'm just like, it's not my day and I'll be allows me to conquer my deep. So like, I still really know when I don't even retain anything or I'm not even really paying attention while I'm even, you know, I still go to emotionally. I don't buy fly too far, you know what I'm saying?
But yeah, it's definitely up to $1,000 because if you ask too much to go, well, you know, maybe if I'm like, just send well to Jordan, I just couldn't wait to be. You know what I mean? Like, I was reading all the days. I just listened into videos like I'm doing, watch, you know, when people break down, so things I was like, I was like, obsessed with the word, and I have a, I'm just listening to like just not people out all the time.
And I'm like, just this, you know, this different, like problems in my life. I'm like, I'm, so my time doing this all the time. I always laugh. I heard you get to work.
Like, just the precious life has been distracting me in how much I want to have that as well. But once you get that, I'm the controlling. I feel like I have a high quality of a day and it's been more connected to go. I just feel more free and I'm sharing, I'm getting, you know what I'm saying?
I'm saying, I'm going to spend, go on time, and we're going to get me going to do. And that's an absolute fact. I'm just going to find a precious life to you. Man, I'm the same, I'm guilty of building a step up, right?
And I use this excuse sometimes. And I'm going to find myself just like, you're saying like, oh, I'm a read, just to read, but I'm like, I'm sorry, nothing. I'm trying to read into it. I'm trying to understand.
I'm just trying to read, like, we're just trying to get checklist on the bike, like, like, the track is about what I'm about to check. Check with, like, I'm just like, they're a bit public. Yes. But any, any way supposed to be that's what I'm saying, like, it's supposed to be, again, like, I'm supposed to be, again, someone who loves it.
It's one thing to just be in their presence. So I think that's like, be there, like, communicating against it. No, each other, not being caring for understanding it. And simply the empathy, all the different stuff.
So like, industry, God, it's a checklist item. Really, it's really kind of a really not relationship. But I mean, God, I think there's a thing. The only spirit is so wonderful.
And if I want to feel like even in the checklist, you still are touched and moved. And you can still pick up something, but it isn't. It's more of a surface level relationship versus a deeper understanding. But God desires for me.
I would say. But yeah, I definitely need to work on it. Like, you know, something's like this. Like it was my son's just like one fireman, some weeks on fire.
So there's one fire and then it's, well, something like happens and throws you off your pivot. And then it's like, you just break the cycle. And I was like, oh, I used to be here. But not kind of the value right now.
I need to get back. Like you find yourself, like, it's time to like, course correct. Now, I'm just like, I go back to, well, no, I'm trying to get back to where I was. But, you know, it's like, it's like, it's like, treated.
Losing weight, going to fitness training. You're just knocking me out and working way back when you want to be each time. So, yeah, this is a little bit of encouragement. You're just living in Cartwright and everyone.
So this week, we are getting into second Samuel 18, second Samuel 18 and last week, we left off with King David fleeing the city of. Yeah, I'm like, you know, it's right. There was a problem. Yeah.
But yeah, like, we got to city of Jerusalem because it's Islam, who was taking us. So who got raped by their brother, I'm not. Who, Islam killed and got banished from Jerusalem and David brought him back because he felt kind of guilty for vanishing. And I'm, I'm, I'm, came up with this game to win the hearts of the people and to overthrow his father as King.
So we had the people, you know, kind of cornered in my single crown and king. And so David just, you know, didn't want to cause too much of a fuss in the capital city. I personally didn't want to like cause it's got to get destroyed because it's like a fun civil war. He's like, I'll leave and he literally told the priest.
If God wants to back in the city, I'll come back and like, I'll just see what God has to be. So I take the yard back in the city. I know that, you know, God is a one shoe living God and doesn't, you know, isn't that. Or I just got off for the arc of the presence of God to stay within the city during the time and not be wherever it is I'm going not to be with me.
And so yeah, that's kind of a quick note. You know, you know, you're just, you know, we spoke in depth. Or what's his name? Oh, yes.
And he's like, you know, to contrast in characters. It was both in ourselves. Because I was limited to by being trying to pursue them in a constant project. So I can became proficient.
And you can see I was not a best actor. Because I mean, it's people trusted people to advise them. They're the fact that came up with this plan. Either another.
You can see it's almost a kill. It's a personal bit. You know, because once David's advised him, he's a good supervisor. And he's like, this is a good.
This is a good idea. I would do it myself. Exactly. But I was a little bit sure as advice of a person who was acting as a double agent.
He was truly on David's side. And he gave up some advice that sounded more logical. He we are. They are not absolutely able to succeed in this way.
I had to tell him that. And he got absolutely failed. And he had to tell him he killed. Was absolutely failed.
So he was not a sad to kill himself. Yeah. First he did put his hand on him. He did put his hand on him.
He did put his hand on him. He did not on a line. He was not a lot of stuff. But I was more first.
So anyone that don't don't don't kill yourself. I agree. It's not in verse 18. And also the very top 17, so we see David goes right in time.
I'll trouble essentially you know, and all of that. I'm counting down. And they were being a bit of some friends who actually gave them food because not nothing. But they closed it back.
So that's all verse 17. And it all. And so now he was probably about to be. He kind of like to start trying to properly from that from how 17 ended.
So verse one. And David numbered the people were within. I said captain's a thousand and captain's a hundred over them. Which is interesting because at first in New York, David didn't leave it that much people.
But for people like captain's a thousand and hundreds. A lot of people was around for David. He was like a lot of people were still around for David. And he was like how much food did these friends would he bring?
He was all feeding. And he didn't really love eating an army. Yes. And that's a variety of food that you're great.
Exactly. So that's very interesting. And David sent out one of the people under the head of Joab was one of David's nephews. It was a very good one general.
A third of the son of Abishai also David's nephew also a very good one. We know Abishai also want to kill King Solomon David. They didn't want to go. So the sons of Zura, Zuriya.
I got you up in time. Joab's brother. And one third under the head of it. He tied the get tight.
And the king said to the people, I will also surely go up with myself. But they wasn't going. I mean, what you have got enough. I mean, because I can see David saying man, I got y'all into this mess.
It would be a sheam if I who is the main person. I'm really wants to kill at this point. Like don't be your delis, leave me. I personally feel bad.
You all find this one on my behalf. When it's my fault. When it's messed up, I want to be your delis. The people and we have known if he had been in the front, the people he might not prevent.
I was thinking wouldn't have been in it. He wouldn't have been in it. He wouldn't have been in it. He wouldn't have been in it.
We talked about in the previous episodes. So again, it's like, bro, I already know. I mean, that's the first time I go with Joab at y'all. This is almost a good bring to me.
Let me go. I feel the same way. I feel the same way because if he had been leading my name's right now. I'm an ex.
The opportunity for him to fall on the beat would not have been there when he was on the beat. So I feel the same way. And I don't know what could you do in this scenario. You know, because I feel like he's like, no, no, no, no.
We ride. Especially if you win this battle, I don't know how David feels. I don't know if he's like, truly concerned that they're lives on a job. But he's one of the other thing about choosing to lead the judge.
I agree. But in verse three, they say the people are saying, you should not go out. If we flee, they will not care about us. No one of us died.
They will not care about us. But you have worth 10,000 of us now for you now more help us in the sea. And it's like, dang. I get it.
And I get to see David. I get there for a second. If I just need a certain time, I would feel like a term one. Because I get what you guys are saying.
By the same time, it's a king. Like you would value you would value your subjects. And it's a good thing. It was a good thing.
It's a good thing. It's a good thing. It's just about that. Exactly.
We don't get a little bit of a hot. I'll just go over to all that. I get to start it because the king is more bad because the king they do retreat. The king is the second.
I mean, in the retaliation, the king is the banjo behind the scenes. It's good that I did what's happening. So it's like, hey, we don't know. Because it's like, this would be a constant mistake on our behalf.
Because let's say we go down those. I got us used when the king came around. Because if we lose, and the king dies, that's a whole different. That's what we change.
Every change. But if we lose, and the king is still alive, there's hope. They're the same. So they basically say, you want to help the rest.
So you say for example, you really? The state of the country is 100. And if you go on the bottom, and potentially that, it's better if you say you want to go to the test of ones. Yeah.
And so we say in first of all, David said to them, what ever seems best to you, I will do. So the king's the beside the gate, and all the people went out by the hundreds of thousands. And even if I go on right, to me, I still shows, like humility. And simultaneously, good news show as well.
Because there's one thing to just, I'm the king, what I say goes. There's another thing to actually take advice and go on. And one whole thing is, if you want to get a good deal, you don't want to go on this one, you don't want to go on this one. But you said, if you guys make a valid point, as much as I really want to go, I understand your argument, and I will stay back.
And so on the way, you'll own try. It's something like, I also work on different aspects of my life. And so on the way, I won't find it being humble. And I'll be like, this is still a better cause of action.
And it still makes my sense to me to go this route. I actually really respect that. And it's like a second time he did it, like smaller, it's probably the first time he got to build up, build up. And he had to take a box, he was like, I was like, no, I'm going to go on the floor.
I'm going to go on the floor. And he was going to go on the floor and say, do you want to make a bullet? This case? Yeah.
What? Let me tell you guys, so over here. And just let me tell you guys, David has been this humble guy the whole time. What is that?
I was there like, whole time. And tell the floor. So one of the places I'm going to take you to one of them. And that's when you try to kill the ball.
Like, I don't think that's something I want to like. Because a lot of people can take rejection or take disrespect. Better than David was trying to take disrespect. So over a lot of people have this humble guy who plays about a box.
He plays a lot of boys. He plays a lot of boys. And then we see where he gets the fame and the accolades and he achieves great things because of God. And then he falls because of his own actions.
Because of his own pride and all that stuff. Now post-foil from John. When we have like specifically, I'm sorry, we see that David instead of going to war. But he's saying, all right, if we don't mind, I can get one voice from one of these.
He says, remember David, I'm a David, I'm a David, that was right from one of those. I'm a service from other countries. Like, we just talked about two episodes ago. Like, okay, those are the first days.
He says, first day on a job, we're trying to fight into the higher end of the way. We're talking about the fucking vote. Okay, go on. We have a city he was talking about.
I mean, a judge who wants. We say, you know what? I can do any of these things. I'm a clean way.
I can get out. So we don't go out to a promotion. So that, we need this black shirt to be shared. So that, because my David was holding his hand.
I'm not sure if I'm going to, I'm not sure if I'm going to, I'm going to follow him for a little while. I'm going to follow him for a little while. If I'm trying to do a lot of things, I'm going to follow him for a little while. So that's what I'm going to say.
We see we see him work going, we're going to work. Trying to do some stuff. We just check that process. So we're going to get out.
So David did a holiday. By sacrificing this all in, I'm not doing this all in comfortably. And going into the way. It's the same thing.
When he was a shepherd boy, David ran the first time from Saul, now he had to run because he didn't have leverage. Just time to have leverage. He's following the same pre-k k-k-k-k-k-k So he leaves him He's like, he's playing a chill Like he sounds some k-k-k-k Like, boy, I thought I could say I mean, I think I'm going to I'm going to do that Like, get the best I'm going to do that And also, let's return to I'm going to go to it Because I'm not trying to be superstitious Like, I'm just trusting I go out to do this And now for the more David is me in humble Once again, I'm saying I'm going to come to the way I'm going to actually approach going to the more You know, so Just all around me You can see a shift Let me see When I touch the point When I touch the point When I touch the point And I'm going to go And I'm going to do it But I was almost at almost But I could almost But I was trusting Everyone had removed And I'm going to pray Like, I'm going to talk Try it and come to the fault Before So now we see David holding And now we come and first Now the king High-k-monded Joel I wish I had In time, the three Commanders in first two saying, deal gently For my sake With the young man Absalom And all the people heard When the king gave the Three-chaptists Order concerning Absalom Wow Deal gently for my sake with a young man up slow. And Matt, I remember, like, before I was telling you, it's like, this is a very in the feelings behind that sentence, right there, it's like, I can't fully grasp it because I don't have a child.
You know what I'm saying? Because like, we see this is some type, this is some different kind of love. This is what I'm just a friend of. Like, I go for the purpose of saying like, you know, if I make up some things, I'll tell myself it's a beyond approach.
But we say, they're saying, no matter what, I still, my son, I still love him after everything he has done for me. You know what I mean? This might as well be a predicament where I can't not show him that for a day. Even if you were to show him, you started to talk about people who are well that happens, I'm fishing.
I'm fishing, I'm fishing. A lot of people that you were right, but then, I also know, two chapters is where I want to be last after. Even a several odd day of it's talking about, talking about all of them in public. No, I'm talking about, I don't think they're there.
I know a 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, and a seven, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, and you know, go after the time, you know, they did. And that's what I'm doing, it's like, I'm doing this. So you can know, girl, I am seven, all times from you. I wanted to be, I wanted to get a biggie obvious as possible that we are at points, right?
And even after all that, I did it, it's like, that's my boy, that's my baby, deal gently with my boy. You understand what I say? They would dream, like he's like, it's a face, people are thinking, they're exactly broke, they're just talking to people on the TV cast, they're like, they're like, they're like, it's a nobody. And you know, what if they say, just how it starts to pass?
Yes, a little more now. And he was telling me how it's changed after all the time. You know, it's not all well, it was like, they didn't put stock in before, or it's not, you know, it's a bring of life into the world. And he reflected on something, it's my dad's all in.
And he said, this is what it's all in the cherish, the time, and it's such an infant, so lie on you, it's time to be quick. It's time to be your first time to be here, it's like, you know, you know, you know, you want to listen to you. And like, it's all the time, you can't forget about how this is nobody, you know, you know, I love you so much like everything, right? And like, and he said to me, he explained to me, this is what it's made to him, the sentiment in Obama's mind is, comes because parents, when they see a child, no matter how much of a men's are childless, they were no, they were no, they were no, they're current, they're the media, they're talking about the it's hard to, it's hard to look, the soft, nothing child, they want to be able to see with the society, see in their mind.
And this is a vice, this is huge vice in their mind. You would obviously make a sense. I know it was a good boy, but you acted on the do on these days, but I try to find it, because people can see a whole new world. They can see the body, so they judge you as well.
And I'll be honest with you, a lot of people in Obama's who are, people who say, you know what I'm saying? You've got to tell them, you've got to tell them, you've got to tell them, you've got to tell them, you've got to tell them, but to not pair it, because of the internet connection, that mother had a child, and how much it'd be public, it's not pretty the same. And I'm like, I know how much it was, so I can't speak to this from a conviction state, but I feel like that's what they have it. That's what they have to go on to right now.
That's why they're saying, I think it's like, I can see, I don't know, I don't know, I'm going to tell you, I'm just like, I'm like, I mean, like, I mean, it's recently was not, but like, the queen died, a son just became king, because he was like, he was like, he was like, all these years, he was a son, you know what I'm saying? Like, man, my daddy, he was like, he was like, that's my mother, I said, I said, I said, that's my mother, you know what I'm saying? I said, I said, I said, I can see it, I'm just coming down, I'm like, no matter what happens, you're still my child. You know what I'm talking about?
You may have, but man, who's the David thought again? Like, you'll gently within for my sake. Can I tell you all, captain's, don't take it from yourself, they do hero, like, like, David has not had a track record of disciplining his son, so it could make crimes over the past few stories. And what?
No, it's very touching. I can't do it. I mean, that's crazy. Because he asked me to ask enough for favor.
I'm big for that. Yeah. I'm not telling you how much you know, because he deserves it because anything else, because I can't. There's nothing I can say to make you.
But I'm asking you for my sake to be gentle with his number in my interpretation, gentle means not dying. Yeah. Like, even then, if you think about like the relations, like Christ, I'm going to go out the father type, and I'm saying like, I'm saying about my sake, you know, they have faith in people who need to meet relationship, spada. They deserve that by all.
Yes, yes, it's not for my sake, spada. That's the, that's, so we sing for six people but not in the field of the battle against Israel and the battle with the, what's the, what the things is going on in you for me? I was thinking, you're from the wild for you. I mean, a lot of things happen in different, I'm having an abandonment, but I don't want to think I just want to mention my, being an individual.

Wow. The last day, take them out. So in verse nine, then Afslam met the service of David. Afslam, you know, you will be under a thick, always have a great, turbinith tree and his head, but caught into the minutes.
So he was left hunting between having an earth. And the new one was under his right arm. But, I was in the comfort of this one, I was in the service of David. So I was leaving, I was like, I just got to talk with him.
I just said absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I think he probably, you know, he turned to the wrong corner. He said, you're trying to make J.K. And I'm like, I'm like, oh, you're going to make the city. Yeah.
But that long hair, maybe you should have considered coming at the more and then once again, I think it's, again, he brought his point up a four-point, right? But like, why do you want to hold? Why do I want to hold? Why do I want to hold?
Why do I want to hold? Like, it's not a city, and they rely on these transportation, right? But you know what? What's it?
The Bible specifically says, and his head caught in the terra bits. But I don't know, it's his hair. We always say it's his hair, but I would have to believe it's his hair because that's the only way you could get really caught in a tree. I can see your head and I can see what's in the impact between two branches, two limbs, because the don't keep just moving and you can sit around and go for real.
What was it? And you had to get jung someone up. The only thing is, again, I think we get a little bit of weeds, right? If you want to go deep and ride, you should be able to go like a bunch of.

That's what I told you, I just mean that it's a lot different. I get to it. Because it's specifically says, hey, obviously your hair's a part of your hair. If you say, it makes more sense because they're going to go, how long do I want to hear?
Exactly. But that's what's going to say. Bro, we're not even looking for your hair to get stuck. I don't know, I think it's more like your hair.
We get caught in something, especially to stop. I think it's kind of like strange thing that was his hair. I'm not sure. Because it was part of his pride.

And see, the service of death. So he was a very attention. And then a dog came in and run him into something. And I was like, I don't even have leverage to really get my hair.

I just, I just, I just, I just, I get my feet as we get one. So, it's a much different thing hanging. I mean, it's like, it's like, a lot of people are David and I don't want to see the difference in top. What's the word?
Tops, I don't know, in tactics, right? David has meant to go as if he was to stay put, because we don't always want to go. I also want to run you as a man. I'm so first we're asking you guys to be big.
You know, make it look good. But now you're gonna have money for my treat. You know where I am for my treat? David, it's a single.

Like, you don't have a stuff like this. Like, you say like, you have to buy a mistake. All right. Like, you see, man, I'm not listening to something.
