Episode 109: Lucha Underground S2 E13-16
from The Middle Aged Outlaws Podcast Hosted by Middle Aged Outlaws Pod
The Middle Aged Outlaws continue with their rewatch of Season 2 of Lucha Underground. An absolute banger slate of episodes sees The Monster Matanza Cueto face off against Mil Muertes for the Lucha Underground championship not once, but twice, with a very special stipulation involved in episode 16. Johnny Mundo and Cage (he's a machine) continue their rivalry as they face off in a steel cage (Cage in a cage) in episode 14. New trios titles champions are crowned as the trios tournament comes to an end in a very chaotic four way match in Episode 14. The fate of the remaining aztec medallions are decided across a number of episodes, most notably during No Mas (episode 15) as Mariposa and Sexy Star finally come face to face in an I Quit match. And we get some mysterious new characters including Councilman Delgado and some shadowy Lord who likes to smoke cigars!
