Cavazos, Texas. She commissioned in 2018 to attend the Army Master of Social Work Program – University of Kentucky and was recognized as the National Association of Social Work’s Student of the Year in 2019. Prior to joining the military, she acted as a research coordinator for the STRONG STAR PTSD Research Consortium and New York University at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. She has over 15 years of experience in a variety of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings as well as extensive experience in community outreach and developing social service programs, as she served for nine years as the Advisor for Army Family Readiness Programs with 1st Medical Brigade at Ft. Cavazos.
