Pittsburgh’s Descendants of Crom is back for its 6th time, with the best in Pittsburgh’s and the region’s doom and stoner metal, crossover, and more all wrapped up into killer festival. Here I speak with festival organizer, frontwoman of the band Funerals and one of the hardest working women in metal, Shy Kennedy. She is also a promoter for her Blackseed Services, bringing in the best of metal artists and talent into Pittsburgh, and you will be hard pressed to find anyone with a pulse on metal better than her.
