It's our Christmas episode so what better time to have a go at the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special from 1978 – a profound misstep in the Star Wars franchise. From its awkwardly disjointed narrative to its cringe-inducing musical numbers, this ill-fated television special stands as a stark reminder of the dangers of misguided creative decisions. Even the beloved characters from the original trilogy couldn't salvage this train wreck.
